I really, really love Bandcamp. I’m exposed to bands I would have never heard otherwise, and I’m able to support the creators (pretty) directly.
Recently I’ve been on a hard rock/psychedelic/groove kick, and I’ve got some stuff to recommend for you.
First, there’s Psychedelic Witchcraft. Though from Italy, they’ve got the groove down right, both through the single “Angela” and their album “Black Magic Man” (and with female vocals, which always entrance me):
[bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=4045168356 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small track=437423019]
Then you’ve got Rifflord, who, well, live up to their name. Riff-heavy (and I mean heavy) tracks:
[bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=41528444 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small]
And finally, Ruby The Hatchet (again with female vocals) carrying the acid metal home for us:
[bandcamp width=100% height=120 album=920816937 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 tracklist=false artwork=small]
Check ’em all out and, if you like, give them some love.
