Carrying Black Sabbath’s Torch

I really, really love Bandcamp. I’m exposed to bands I would have never heard otherwise, and I’m able to support the creators (pretty) directly.

Recently I’ve been on a hard rock/psychedelic/groove kick, and I’ve got some stuff to recommend for you.

First, there’s Psychedelic Witchcraft. Though from Italy, they’ve got the groove down right, both through the single “Angela” and their album “Black Magic Man” (and with female vocals, which always entrance me):

Then you’ve got Rifflord, who, well, live up to their name. Riff-heavy (and I mean heavy) tracks:

And finally, Ruby The Hatchet (again with female vocals) carrying the acid metal home for us:

Check ’em all out and, if you like, give them some love.
