Memorial Day: Remembering The Dead

It’s Memorial Day in the United States today.

This is the day to remember those who died in war. Not just soldiers, and not just our own veterans – that’s Veteran’s Day.

Today is to remember those soldiers who died, yes.

But it also a day to remember those civilians who died.

And it is a day to remember those on the "other side" who died.

This is a day to remember those who died because of war.

This is a day to strengthen our resolve so that we add as few names as possible before next Memorial Day.
