You can’t undo what has been done. As long as you don’t choose, anything is possible.
And that’s the biggest load of horsecrap I’ve seen in a long time.
Because if you don’t make a choice, you have made a choice. Look at the US presidential elections in 2000 and 2016 if you need convincing that this is true on a huge, macroscopic scale.
This is not some “the Universe has a plan for me” bull. This is real life, boys and girls.
Not making a choice is itself a choice. You cannot choose what remains unchosen; when you do not choose, you have turned down EVERYTHING.
It’s bloody terrifying. I know. It’s so damn tempting to just pretend that not choosing means something noble or open-minded.
It fucking does not.
Sweden’s much-lauded neutrality in World War II? It means they would not side against Hitler. For most of us “not siding against Hitler” might as well be a cardinal sin. (And if you think otherwise, fuck the hell off.)
It has been said that for evil men to accomplish their purpose it is only necessary that good men should do nothing.
Do something.
