Little and tiny and earthshaking.

Whenever we begin to love, battles are fought within our soul. Little wars of hope versus fear, skirmishes between logic and emotion.

In the great sweep of things, these internal conflicts are tiny and utterly banal to anyone besides ourselves.

Yet they are the most important battles of all.

 

Post-note: This was something I wrote back in the 90’s, and I recently stumbled upon it, and thought it was worth sharing. Feel free to make fun of my handwriting.  🙂
