Book review: Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

In the world of Ready Player One – a near-future dystopia – Ernest Cline sets a compelling mystery plot that weaves in and out of the real and virtual worlds.  It’s tight, compelling, and drew me in quickly and didn’t let go.  If that wasn’t enough, there’s one other thing:   If you’re a child of the 80’s and remember stepping into a video arcade with ANY degree of fondness, just stop reading reviews and pick this book up now.  Really.

This book is enjoyable for anybody… but if you know the difference between the sounds of Mario coins and Sonic coins, or instantly place the quote “Red Warrior Needs Food Badly”… well, this book was made for you.
